Misleading photos: The photos shown on Expedia do not reflect the current condition of the property. The lodge is nowhere near the state presented in the pictures. These may be photos from when the place first opened, but at present everything feels old, worn out, neglected, and in clear need of major renovation.
Interior & cleanliness: Upon entering, the overall impression is not pleasant. The furniture, floors, kitchen, and bathroom are heavily worn, which creates a general feeling of uncleanliness, even though I believe basic cleaning is done. However, the cleaning itself is careless – dust has accumulated in corners over a long period of time, and the refrigerator was dirty upon arrival.
On a positive note, the bed linen and the shower were clean.
Wi-Fi & services: The Wi-Fi is unreliable – sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. The reception is not operational; check-in and check-out are contactless, which would be acceptable, but combined with the lack of maintenance and support, it adds to the feeling of neglect.
Outdoor areas: The outdoor area has a lot of potential and could be very pleasant, but it is currently poorly maintained. With some basic care and upkeep, it could become a really nice space.
Value for money: The price is completely unjustified given what is offered. Considering the misleading photos, the overall condition, and the level of comfort, the accommodation does not deliver value for the price paid.
