“We had such a wonderful time kayaking in hidden alcoves on the lake, cruising around on the pontoon boat, and enjoying a beautiful view while toasting marshmallows over the campfire. The house was beautiful, quiet, and super clean. The beds were comfortable and the inside temperature was wonderfully cool. The fridge had plenty of space. The bunk bed setup was absolutely charming. It was the perfect gathering place for a few friends and family to get together. We would definitely recomend this...

“Beautiful setting. Has all the amenities needed. The owner/manager was very responsive to all communications. A bonus was that the neighbors across the street that own the dock to the right, when looking out to the lake, were very friendly. We used Aloha boat rental. That was also a very positive experience. ”

“This is our third stay at this property. It’s perfect for our group: direct access to lake, so many water toys, and a very helpful and communicative host. Bedrooms are small but comfortable. We stay outside most of the time, and it’s idyllic. ”

“The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't...

“This was the cutest and perfect retreat during a hectic week of preparation leading up to my daughter’s wedding. We LOVED sitting out on the balcony just looking at the water. The gas grill made dinners easy, and we even took a spin in the kayaks. Highly recommended. ”
