âFantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.â
âLoved our stay at Longfellow. The amenities were great (highly recommend the spa!) and town car was an added perk we took advantage of. The drinks at the bar were some of the best we had in Portland. We loved the sustainability aspect of the rooms and found the bed to be very comfy.
All communication is done via text and we found the responsiveness to be spotty (anywhere from 5 min to the following day). Other than that, we had an excellent stay and will definitely be returning.â
âBeautiful, clean, modern property close to down town. Easy to walk to where you wanted to go. Parking is available; however, you pay for it like everywhere downtown. The valet service is awesome though. My only other thing I didnât care for was the view of the roof we had from our room, but not much can be done about that. We got the short stick I guess. âThis hotel is in the heart of everything! Fast and easy check in. Clean, hot water, the sink was a little clogged but that doesnât stop anything. Would stay here again. â

âThe location of this property makes shopping and dining very walkable. While the overnight parking is pricey it is competitive with the options in the area. The pool is a nice option for the kids to spend some time. The breakfast is convenient and tasty. Our biggest complaint though was the beds were not comfortable. They are in need of a refresh or replacement.â
