An airy lakefront cottage with its own private beach and dock, the main house is ideal for families and friends with optimal space for outdoor living and an open kitchen, living and dining floor plan with a large back deck overlooking the beach.

Crystal Lake is located in beautiful Benzie County in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Covering just under 10,000 acres, it’s the ninth largest inland lake in the state and amongst the cleanest lakes in the United States boasting crystal clear blue waters.

Great family getaway

This was our fourth summer vacation in northern Michigan, and probably our favorite location of them all. Crystal Lake is truly beautiful, and this property was a great accommodation for our group of 9. The home was very clean, well-stocked and comfortable. Having two separate living rooms was a big plus for our large family, and the huge outdoor covered deck (with hot tub and fire pit) was a big hit with everyone…. In fact, we did most of our evening meals on that deck. Our adult kids loved the property’s canoes & kayaks, especially since the water was still a bit too cold for swimming. And the fishing was decent…. We caught enough big smallmouth bass for two meals. Unlike many other rentals, this property offers lots of privacy, and also has lots of room for parking if you are coming with multiple vehicles.

Beautiful and peaceful house

We loved this house. 4 adults and 4 teens fit easily and happily here. Crystal Lake is gorgeous and we rented the extremely nice boat and went out on the Lake many of the days we stayed here. I highly recommend this house.

Slice of paradise in northern Michigan

Great location and property; access to beautiful Crystal Lake/beach is perfect for families with children. Amenities were excellent including high quality kitchen tools, cookward.

This is a wonderful property! The porch and its view makes you feel like in you in heaven. The water WAS Crystal clear. Accommodations were great. EVERYTHING was provided for. All in excellent condition.

Beautiful views

This was a new rental so there were a couple of hiccups, but the rental company was quick to reach out and respond and help out. Very easy to work with and views we’re stunning we really enjoyed most of our Time out on the deck. The main house had a very comfortable master and 2 additional rooms that were good for kids as they were bunk beds and 2 twins. The guest house has 1 queen and 1 king and a bathroom. It was a pleasant stay and we’d love to comeback sometime.

Perfect Week!

The Summer House was perfect! With Caribbean blue/green water and sandy bottom, Crystal Lake is an amazing location. The Summer House feels very private with an amazing deck that steps right onto the beach. The house was pristine with all the amenities of home. The property manager was responsive and thorough. We cannot wait to return next summer!.
