“Staying at the cottage was extremely pleasing. The cottage was just perfect, like Goldilocks, not too big, not too small, but just right. The proximity and access to Higgins Lake was again just right. On the morning of our departure, we were already discussing our return visit. All in all, Jillian and the cottage were perfect! “We loved our stay at the retreat cottage. It was very cozy set back into the woods. There’s a little trail that goes a bit deeper that our kids loved looking for deer prints on. It’s a little distance from any grocery store so be sure to bring your staples with you( spices and cooking oils, ice trays). Coffee was provided and that’s pretty important. “Beautiful place and location, was perfect for a guys weekend up north. Didn't see any, but the elk map helped in giving us places to explore and look for elk! The place was clean and had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks so much for having us!”

“We lived in this neighborhood a few years back and rented this house to visit friends. So glad this little house was available as it worked out great. “From the second we stepped in we fell in love with the inviting space of the fireplace. The house was very comfy , the lake was great , the paddle boat was nice we even fished on it. Great bass and panfish fishing.We plan to come back again!”
