The Sea Glass Retreat - Surfside Beach Texas

Brand new build since Hurricane Beryl in 2024.
Just completed and re-opened for rental in May 2026!

The Sea Glass Retreat a brand new 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom home located in Surfside Beach Texas. It is about 5 houses down from the beach.
Each bedroom has a king size bed.

We have a HOT TUB! There is a fenced in yard downstairs with a nice area for grilling, enjoying the hot tub, and hanging out around the fire pit.

We do not allow more than 6 total guests at any time of day or night.

We are a pet-friendly home. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable fee of $75 per pet for your trip. If you are bringing more than one pet please let us know and we will process the additional pet fee.

The Retreat is simple and comfortable. It's perfect for a memorable and fun beach getaway.

Short Weekend Get Away

Cute little house that had absolutely everything that we needed! Hot tub was a wonderful bonus. House is within walking distance to beach and restaurants. Fun place to stay! Loved our vacation!

Great getaway!

This house was perfect for our adult only getaway! We needed a chill weekend. Property was clean and nice. Outdoor area was perfect for hanging out with each other. Steps away from the beach and a great restaurant on the beach. Perfect!

Cozy beach house

Very nice house just a few steps from the beach. We really enjoyed the hot tub and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Great communication from the host Marq. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely & Comfy by the beach!

I took a solo trip with my small dog and it was such a great experience staying here! We both loved the fenced in yard and upper deck. Hot tub was also amazing. Convenient short walk to beach. Comfortable home with great amenities. Hope to come back again!

Great Spring Break

This house is perfect!! Super cute decorations and lots of amenities like a jacuzzi and outdoor fire pit. Beds were super comfortable, plenty of towels, and the enclosed yard was perfect for our dogs! A quick walk to the beach and restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!!

Memorial Day Weekend Get Together

Perfect location to allow easy engagement with other family members in the local area for a weekend family reunion. Most important for us was the fenced back yard for our furbabies. Clean and simple. Everything we needed for the weekend :-)

Anniversary Getaway

Me and my husband spent our anniversary here. The house was just big enough for us and cozy. We got to enjoy the hot tub one night, unfortunately the tv wasn't working. The kitchen was just big enough for us to make delicious meals. We will definitely remember this house for the future.

Cold weather

We enjoyed the place as much as we could, but the weather was cold & rainy. The house sleeps 4 & is cute. The owner was very friendly and prompt with responses. Check in & check out was a breeze. We were there off season, but this would be a fun place to stay when it’s lively in season. It is a fun beach neighborhood.

Amazing adorable stay!

Traveled from Iowa! The weather was a bit challenging but better than the -13 temperature and 2 ft of snow in Iowa. Even though the weather waa cool here it made the the Hot Tub more enjoyable! Thank you for everything ❤️

Comfy Stay!

We loved the king size mattress, was very comfy. The window air conditioners worked well and we slept wonderfully. The hot tub was nice after spending most of the day on the beach. The water from the tap smelt really bad and showering was challenging. We've been to Surfside plenty of times, but the water seemed particularly bad this time. The house was close to the beach and we would stay here again.

Fantastic!

We loved the Seaglass Retreat! Everything was as described, the cabin had everything we needed to settle in for our 8-night stay. At one point we were running out of paper products and wanted some more dish towels. We messaged Marq and had the supplies in a couple hours! The beach is a 3-minute walk away, as are 2 good restaurants. We are most of our meals at the cabin, though, since the kitchen is fully equipped. The huge bonus that truly set this place apart is the hot tub! It was heavenly soaking in the warmth on the chilly evenings. Can’t say enough good things! We’re trying to figure out if we can come back next year!

Perfect Beach House for our Weekend Stay

Although this is a smaller beach house (ideal for 2-4 guests), this house gets five stars for a number of reasons. It is very close to the beach, is one street over from a great beachside restaurant, and was very clean upon arrival. My 7-year old son loved the hammock and thought it was awesome that he could watch cartoons while sitting in the hot tub. It would have been nice if there were extra hand towels and trash bags for the kitchen area -- probably forgot to restock before we arrived. We cooked breakfast every morning before heading down to the beach. Kitchen is small, but had all of the basics. We rented the golf cart for our stay. Definitely recommend that add-on if you have gear to take down to the beach. Would stay here again if we come back to the Surfside Beach area.

Great little house with close proximity to the beach, and all amenities. The back yard was such an asset, very nice, furnished with a fire pit, and a great hot tub on the patio. If I had to find one thing that could be improved upon, it would be to add central air. Window units cannot do the trick in August heat/humidity. Other than that it was a great place and we would visit again!
