“We enjoyed the areas attractions and atmosphere. Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. The lock and dam can be seen from the house and it provided occasional entertainment as the tugs pushed barges through the chamber.”

“Loved the mansion! We were able to have a little post graduation soirée with our family and a few of my sons friends as their last goodbye after graduation. We played games on the porch in the balmy spring air and fantasized what generations had done the same for decades prior. It was perfect!”

“Place was as described. There is a pull out couch in the living room that gave good privacy from the other bedroom that has the queen size bed in it. Nicely placed night lights helped navigate to the bathroom. Had a delightful stay”

“First impression when we arrived was how clean it was (VERY!) and that it looked exactly like the pictures or better. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels for 6 women, kitchen had everything we needed. We had plenty of space and greatly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor seating options. There were a few trains that went by on Friday and Saturday, but the latest we heard one was 11:15pm and the earliest we heard one was 7:45 am so it wasn't too disruptive. It was kind of fun to...

“beautiful house meet all of our needs for room. we had a little problem with ants in the guest bedroom. the biggest issue is the train that goes by all day and night about 100 yards from your window. the cherry was when they went from the north to the south, because there was 2 tracks on our side of the road, they blew their horn about 25,000 times. then the train on the other side of the river doing the same thing, it was dueling train horns.”
