    Välkommen till pittoreska Westcott Bay, en lugn tillflyktsort, 5 minuters promenad från Roche Harbour Resort, shopping och alla marinanläggningar. Heron House är en hundvänlig semesteruthyrning som nyligen byggdes i oktober 2017 ... 3 minuters promenad till Roche Harbour hundpark. Flyga in, båt in eller köra in, du är aldrig mer än 5 minuters promenad till Heron House.

    Vad ska man göra på Westcott Bay? Tja, du kan gå 50 meter ut genom din bakdörr till stranden eller promenera, på alla utom de högsta tidvattnen, till Picnic Island. Använd de två fiskekajakerna för att paddla runt viken, trilla en linje eller ställa in en krabba fälla. På helgen, paddla över till Westcott Bay Shellfish gård för deras berömda grillade ostron. Kanske skulle du vilja vandra på de nationellt erkända spåren (http: // sanjuanislandtrails. Org / trailw / roche-harbour-trail) ... allt utan att behöva komma in i din bil! Om det är en promenad du har i åtanke, gå den 3 miliga slingan förbi skulpturträdgårdarna (utan koppel för hundar), genom Roche Harbour Resort själv, stannar kort vid Westcott Bay Cider för en provsmakning, ta en sällsynt Pokémon vid fyrens brevlåda mittemot det gamla stenbrottet 9 simningshål, och ... du är hemma.

    Om du ska köra måste du ta dig till Lime Kiln Point för att titta på orka, tidvattenpooler eller ha en picknicklunch. Du kan köra 9 miles till storstaden Friday Harbor för alla bekvämligheter i en liten stad.

    Roche Harbour Resort ger dig möjlighet att boka en valskådningstur, gå med på en kajaktur runt norra änden av Henry Island, eller, om du har tur ... schemalägga ett bröllop 

    Heron House är uppkallat efter de stora blå hägerna som dagligen stjälkar grunt eller abborre på Picnic Island. Ta med din kamera för några närbilder av dem eller de skalliga örnarna som fiskar i Westcott Bay.

Such a beautiful place! We found the accommodations to be very comfortable and loved all the special touches for our dog (dog bed, towels, etc provided). We would recommend and would stay here again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This was the perfect place to get together for these elderly siblings and their dog. Beautiful and comfortable home where we could spread out but still be together.It was very peaceful and quiet and we could easily drive to places of interest.

We loved our time at Heron House! We had 2 families with our kids and the home was equipped with everything we needed and we had an excellent time. Kayaks and SUP were great to utilize- and we paddled over to Westcott Bay Oysters. Enjoyed lots of beach time and Roche Harbor resort is a short walk for pool, treats, the sculpture garden, etc. Host communication excellent- we would return for sure! Seeing seals and herons from the house was so lovely.

Wonderful house! Beautiful view and property, so fun to explore the little cove and peninsula. Saw an otter playing out on the beach. Great set-up for our trip with grandparents, parents, and two little kids (5 and 2).

Our stay at Heron House was amazing, from the beautiful views from inside the house to the views from the outside decks. The house was clean and the bedroom set up worked perfectly for our group. We loved the ability to walk to Roche Harbor as parking can be a challenge. The ping pong table was a plus since we had some rainy days and the clamming gear was a fun way to get outside in nature, we were actually able to dig enough clams to make a delicious pasta dinner. The living and dining room furniture is uncomfortable. Thanks again and I hope we are able to stay here again sometime in the future.

23 Jun 2026, Adult family of 7 for my husband’s 60th Surprise Birthday get together. We stayed 5 nights. We’ve stayed in many many VRBO’s over last few years and this one truly exceeded our expectations. Absolutely gorgeous inside and out with perfect location near the water. Spectacular water views from inside and on back deck. Fun short walk to Roche Harbor restaurants and we rented a 12 passenger van for trips to Friday Harbor for golfing and fun touristy stuff. Absolutely loved this house and location and can’t wait to come back again!! Thank you, Lori B

Love this house so much that we keep coming back when we stay by Roche Harbor. Right on the water with great views of the bay and more privacy than staying on resort. Perfect place to stay with a group.
