“We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family.”

“Overall simple and clean cabin in the woods. Good communication from the host. The listing accurately depicts the cabin interior. The bed was comfortable, nice linens, and very clean. Like some others mentioned, it was a bit close to the neighbors so if you want total privacy its not the place for you. But we lucked out and the place was pretty empty. My only suggestions would be to add a picnic table (or something) on the large deck for outdoor dining (there is a table, no chairs). Also the...

“I can't say enough about our stay. They literally though of everything possible that one could need plus some. As soon as you walk in, it just feels like home. Kathie left fresh Pumpkin muffins on the table for us upon arrival. The property in itself is breathtaking. We spent hours on the porch off of the living room. We were lucky enough to get a little storm during our stay so we got to enjoy the storm on the porch and watch as the lightening and fireflies lit up the night. It was a magical...
