“This was our first time stay here and it was a great experience. We had 12 adults there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. We also had 4 boats and it was a little tight at the docks, but we were able to make it work. Very nice area. The water was a little rough at the docks over the weekend with all the boats going by. It did settle down during the week. You can tell they have been working on the house to improve it. ”

“This was a well maintained property with wonderful river views and boating dock. The neighborhood was lovely to walk in with easy access to the local bike trail. It was a fun place for our family to spend time together!”

“Mom & daughter spent a lovely week at the Sunrise Cottage. It was smaller than we expected but comfortable, peaceful and well-equipped. We could see that the host puts a lot of time and effort into gardening and beautifying the property and we really enjoyed the beautiful flowers all around. “Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“We were a large party of 15. There was ample room that no one got in anyone’s way. Soooo much for everyone to be entertained. Can’t swim off the dock but the use of kayaks etc was amazing. Game room was a hit as was the hot tub. Massage chair was amazing. Property was large and beautiful. Private spot so we didn’t need to be afraid that we were too noisy. Plenty of essentials provided for cooking. Very responsive host. ”
