  • Desert's Edge provides an authentic Fruita experience to all seeking an outdoor Colorado adventure. Fruita is known for its world-famous mountain biking trails and outdoor adventures. Desert’s Edge Fruita is centrally located to all the action. We hope to highlight these and more Fruita attractions for you to explore during your stay. This unique property is a 4 acre oasis on the edge of downtown Fruita and the North desert trails. The Little Salt Wash runs through the property and provides lots of shade and single track walking paths, all on private property for you to enjoy. It is perfect for walking dogs, sipping coffee or relaxing in the shade near the water. Explore the unique niches around the wash which is designated as a wildlife corridor.
    There is a large locked shed for gear and bike storage including a bike stand and work bench near the parking. This area includes an all day shady fenced in dog yard with a dog house. The fire pit, staging area and general hanging out spot in near the shed as well. Parking is off the street be-hind a privacy fence. A big grassy private front yard and several sitting areas around the house are also provided. Explore, relax and enjoy your stay at this hidden oasis. I live on the property in the back (east) part of the house. If there is anything I can help you with, please feel free to ask

Super cute cottage, just as described in the listing. Very convenient to downtown Fruita and close to several nice hikes. The property is very nice. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Fruita.

This wonderful property was a peaceful oasis for our family. It was comfortable, welcoming, and pet friendly. The host was lovely, kind, and helpful. There was even a safe, shady, fenced area for our dogs, including water and toys! There was great local coffee provided, and exquisite handmade pottery. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This property was perfect for bikers with dogs and Karen made sure that we had everything we needed. It was a beautiful property, with a bonus dog run and plenty of room to explore.

Staying here was lovely. The place is beautiful, clean, comfortable and has everything you will need. Fantastic location with outdoor seating areas in the shade of trees. Walk to coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Close to N. Desert and Kokopelli trail systems. Great stay, highly recommend!

Very cute unit nestled in the trees and close to town. The owner was very helpful and accommodating for our stay and communicated quickly with any questions we had. The unit is decorated with pieces from local artists that you can purchase as well. Definitely recommend!

Will definitely stay here again!The house is in a great location and perfect size for 2 adults. Our dogs loved the fenced dog area. The house was clean and the host covered all the basics. Loved that local artists were represented!

Wonderful cottage

I just love this place. It is so peaceful, and all the beautiful pottery and artwork throughout the guesthouse is amazing! It’s everything that you would need for a quiet place to relax. The little enclosed dog area is excellent and my dogs thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cousins Weekend with Fur Babies

The property was clean, centrally located, Karen, the host super friendly and nice. Loved the dog run. Even though the property was off a road, it felt quit secluded.

Amazing house, great host!

The house is beautiful and had some really cool art! My pup was a long for the ride and had a nice big yard to run around in. It's located in the heart of Fruita, close to restaurants and shops. It's such a cute town.
