“Aside from no heat/hot water for first day, group of 4 adults enjoyed. Also, no carafe in coffee pot but Rep from Vacasa brought a new coffeemaker upon arrival to check and find that propane was empty. I think anymore than 4 adults would be somewhat cramped. Would rent again but feel Vacasa should offer some type of a credit for the heat/hot water inconvenience.”

“This is the second time that we have rented this property. The lake is so peaceful and warm. The town has everything you need from a donut shop, takeout stand, a restaurant that also has great takeout, a great grocery store, etc. The camp also has everything you need. We stayed here with our adult children. There are four bedrooms and an upstairs and downstairs. It’s easy to either spend time together or to have your own space. “The Sandy Ridge cottage is an awesome place for a relaxing get away in the most peaceful setting. Allison goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome the second you walk thru the door. The cottage was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. Outside there is a nice deck as well as a campfire area with comfy Adirondack chairs to hang out under the pines. “We loved our stay! The location was perfect! 30 mins to Portland and 30 mins to Freeport. Grocery stores and yummy ice cream place within minutes also. House was spacious, we (2 families of 3) were able to really spread out! Views were great from almost every room! Lake was awesome, clean. Clear water for swimming and nice and warm!! We loved the docks for relaxing!! We will definitely be back!!”
