“We had a fabulous time. You would never know there was a town 2 miles from the house. It was very peaceful and welcoming. The cottage was very clean and had no issues what so ever. We were able to choose from quite a few events going on in the area and enjoy the fall foliage. ”

“When we arrived at the property, it was exactly as described in the listing and even a little larger than we expected. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful! I loved watching the water from my seat around the fire and listening to all of the woodland creatures going about their day. My son also loved that it was a "classic" Maine Camp.... it was just like one would imagine. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.”

“My wife and I stay for a long weekend, had a great time! Anything you might need is provided, watched the sun rise over the lake right from the dinning table, enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. Off the beaten path but not really 5min and your on the main drag with a multitude of stores. I'm sure its even nicer in the warm weather.”

A mini-fridge, coffeemaker and microwave oven do not make this a "Studio" in the sense that I understand that word (i.e., a one-room apartment with kitchen and bath). When I went back and looked at the photos in the listing, that should have been obvious to me, but I got hung up on the word "Studio."That said, it was a comfortable room, although the bathroom was stingy on towels (no face cloths, only one hand...
