“The Swan at Grasmere was very welcoming, well kept and comfortable with friendly accommodating staff. The breakfast was lovely however we did feel the evening meal was their weakest aspect. The restaurant is lovely but one of our meals had over cooked chips and my husband’s meal was supposed to be pie of the week (beef) but was a surprise when he cut into it and got chicken! The staff quickly addressed this and brought a whole new meal. We did feel the cost of food and drinks was expensive...
