“Very dated establishment. The pictures do not do it any justice at all, it looks very much worse in real life. Beds were alright but the prices that are being charged for these rooms are way higher than they should be. This is a very low budget hotel at a semi-high price.”

“We had a great stay! The shower was fantastic – strong pressure and very refreshing. When we noticed the moisturiser was out, reception responded immediately and refilled it without delay, which we really appreciated. There's also a great playground just a short walk from the hotel, perfect for kids to burn off some energy. All in all, a smooth and enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!”

“Everyone loves a night at the country club. The fine dining restaurant is really good, rooms are neat and clean. Bit of yesteryear charm with the grand staircase in front foyer. Don’t forget a spa/sauna/swim before you check out. Have stayed a few times now and we love it. ”

“Top floor room, so nice view of the park and city. Great location, easy walking.”

“Ideally located in a quiet suburb just outside of Launceston and offers various dining options both onsite and at the main Links Golf Club, just down the road. As a travelling family we were comfortable in the three bedroom villa, and were greeted in the morning by the local friendly ducks at the front door, which was a nice surprise for the kids. The villa was clean and in good condition, just showing a bit of age with the decor and colour scheme.”

“Though the check-in time was 2:00pm, we showed up at the hotel at around 10:00am and were given our room keys, no questions asked! Thank you to the wonderful staff. ”

“Nice, comfortable clean motel. Its off the main road and on a steep drive, so a bit tricky to find but that makes it very quiet! Quite a walk to shops, so you would need a vehicle. Nice modern bathroom wtuh a superb rain shower which was lovely. ”

“Jag tillbringade några nätter på detta hotell och deltog samtidigt på några olika turer på Tasmanien. Rummen är stora och har en klassisk gammal stil. Utrustningen i rummen är bland de bästa jag sett! Förutom den vanliga vattenkokaren fanns här exempelvis en kokplatta att plocka fram ur en låda och det fanns knivar, skedar med mera. Läget på hotellet är centralt och bra. Mitt rum 119 låg längst bort från receptionen. Tyvärr så innebar det att Internet oftast inte fungerade på rummet, så det...

“An excellent and central place to stay in Launceston at a great price point. Possibly the most comfortable bed we'd ever experienced in a hotel and helpful staff who were at arms length until needed. Good parking, nice view over the city, a lift, and good heating all added to our winter visit.”
