This was very nice and comfortable stay for 5 women traveling for a basketball game. We were close to the arena and had everything we needed for comfort the 4 days we were there. The home was lovely. Would stay again.

Location was great however the property listing pictures should be updated as they seem to be outdated for how the property currently looks. Additionally, the bathrooms definitely have mildew issues that need to be addressed. As far as the value for our stay; we understand Graduation weekend is a top dollar weekend, but we felt for what we paid it should have been a better kept property.

My family stayed for just one night to watch our son’s basketball game. We were so disappointed that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the amazing home and all the amenities. Everything was just like described and pictured, even better! There were basic supplies to get you started and perfect to kick off our stay. The house was clean and welcoming! It was truly one of the best experiences that we have ever had with Vrbo! We will absolutely be booking this property again if available in the future! The host, Jared, was also second to none!

The pictures need to be updated. We rented this house mainly for the pool and backyard. Reality is not what was presented in the photos. There was no outdoor dining table, dining chairs and umbrella. The yard and pool surround were full of weeds and debris, and the pool floats and toys were filthy and ancient. All of the chaise lounges were broken, and you had to lean them again the house to keep the backs from falling off. When I complained to the host, I was told the furniture had umbrella had broke, and they were not going to be replaced/fixed. The house was fine. Large, well equipped, clean. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. Pictures inside should also be updated. It’s a bit worn, and some of the decor has changed from the online photos. Host was very responsive to several other issues that arose during our stay. Would I stay again? No. I wanted a nice backyard and pool to spend time at, like what was presented in the photos.

House was what was advertised. We were there on a weekend for a softball tournament. Girls took the bunk room. We had a good time. Gas Grill worked great. Pictures do make putting green look better than it really is, but it works and you can use it as you are grilling. Pool was too cold to enjoy but we jumped in anyway. Pool area is showing its age, but was clean and functional. Inside was as advertised, no surprises. Small issue with one of the bathroom sinks, and owner was ready to have someone immediately address it, but we were able to get by while we were there. Video games were a hit with all the dads.

The experience was outstanding! They communicated with us several times before the stay even began, all instructions for check in were simple and clear. We had no issues at all and they included all the information we would have needed, for example, WiFi and password, how to use the key pad, things that were available to us and parking areas. The Host was great throughout the stay by checking in with us periodically and even taking it to the next level and making it feel more personable as if we were talking to a friend. As for the house I honestly don’t think the pictures do it justice. As you walk in it’s all an open space but you can see how well it’s spaced out with two separate living areas divided by the dining room and kitchen. The rooms are great sizes, that I think the pictures make them look small. All the bathrooms were well stocked and cleaned. I loved that there were several ways to access the backyard from the inside of the home. The pool was amazing and cleaned, of course it had a few leaves but that’s all part of nature what’s important is the water was nice and blue and didn’t smell of chemicals, which is a personal favorite of mine. I would definitely stay here every time I’m in town. The checkout process was just as simple and smooth as the check in was. The only thing I would encourage travelers is if you like ice in your drinks to remember to buy bags of ice, the ice maker is not connected which to me isn’t a problem but they have a dishwasher.

Definitely the nicest rental house we have stayed at in Gainesville. Only critique would be that the grass in the back yard needed to be mowed. It was overgrown and full of stickers, so the kids couldn’t run around back there

Would Rent Again!

Our party of 3 families enjoyed our stay. The house was in a convenient location and Jared the owner was very helpful with communication and recommendations for restaurants in the area. The kids made the most of the pool and basketball game and they loved the bunk beds. The adults enjoyed just being able to be together with plenty of room in the common spaces and outside to sit down and just relax. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend to others.

We did not stay at the property. We left within an hour and a half. The thermostat would not go below 79 during that time. We had a group of 16. That is miserable. On top of that there was mold and dust on all of the air vents, mold in the showers, soap residue from previous tenants soap bottles in the showers, dirt and dead bugs on the floors, mop bucket left out but no evidence of clean floors. The sheets had little black specks on them, could have bed bugs but we didn’t stay to find out. The backyard area was messy with yard debris. The putting green was not as nice as pictured, grill cover thrown on the ground, food stuck to grill, leaves all in the pool, mildew on all the furniture outside, property was left unlocked when we arrived, the list goes on. The host stated he sent a cleaning crew and a box of donuts for our troubles. We left as we had a group that had activities planned. Apparently, the cleaning crew was done within 40 mins which is not possible due to the filth that was present. The mold on the AC vents shows a bigger problem with the AC system that is not being acknowledged. We requested a refund and neither the host nor VRBO were helpful. They kept saying they would get back to me with a remedy and then closed the case with no further communication. Once again, I had to call and spent the majority of the time on hold. Very frustrating. 100% do not recommend. The pictures on the VRBO ad look as if the property is brand new, spic and span. It is not.

Spacious family gathering place-great central location

We loved the open spaciousness of the living/ dining area. This room got wonderful morning sunlight and we enjoyed simple breakfasts there. If you love coffee there are multiple brewing options! The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The backyard is large and the pool looked inviting, it’s too bad we were there in January and the weather was not warm enough to try it out- will have to give it a 2nd chance at a future visit. There is a bit of street noise in the back yard but it can’t be heard in the house. Beds were comfortable and there were tons of towels available. The decor was simple and tasteful. Check in was super simple and we had no problems. We came to visit with family that lives there and the house was centrally located to both houses. Host is easy to communicate with.
