“We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. ”

“Hugh's house was so homey and comfortable! AMAZING views all around, sheep to watch out back. While remote, it's close to many famous trails and a cafe nearby. While unmarked and a white car sits next to (we thought someone was in it), pay attention to the pics and map. We went mid-May and us visitors were already picking up. “Very peaceful cottage. Bedrooms had very low sloping roofs. Two bedrooms, with bathroom downstairs, and precipitous stairs. Extremely well appointed cottage. Tin roof, so storms were interesting.”

“We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location.”

“Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! The hike down to the secluded beach is moderately difficult but well worth the effort . The beach front hike provided more stunning views.
