“Quite worn out hotel. Not at all value for money. Dirty rooms. Needs renovation. Service very confused and unstable. Rooms not cleaned before 6 pm. However nice situated at the beach. Not possible for swim as to risky. Ok pool.”

“This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner...

“Very outdated Got locked in room due to keys and locks being outdated Gate to beach came off in my hands due to rust and no maintenance Had to fight to close doors as all warped Slipped over in bathroom on exiting the shower Right next to a alcohol top up shop with all cans and bottles thrown all over the floor And people constantly harassing to buy them alcohol. “Beautiful hotel close to Galle Forte with a view to dye for. Loved our lazy days overlooking the ocean next to the pool. Great service and nice food. My husband had to work as we were stranded based on the war, and there was a nice desk where he could work away looking at the ocean. Only minus for us was the pool bar where the served pizza etc. We were the only ones for dinner one night and had to ask for our drinks and food twice?! The seemed totally not interested and did not pay us much...
