“Excellent hostess Lili - a wonderful Soul. The breakfasts provided delicious. The Davis Brook Retreat such a serene place for rejuvenation. We spent majority of our time on chaise lounges in the back yard listening to the song birds and wind chimes. A wee disappointment was the pool not really heated. Nowhere in website did it say pool not heated. Managed to get into pool once but not for long - rather cold. Did use hot tub once also. Overall a lovely stay. Will go again.”

“Perfect location to walk to the beach or Stanley Park (15-20 minutes or so). The room was bright and roomy with an attached bathroom. There was no air conditioning in the room, and no screen in the window when opening to help cool the room off in 28 temperatures. The room was clean. We didn’t use any of the other available amenities.”

“Weather wasn't stellar, but this suite was clean and very private. If you're an introvert who likes a bit of nature - this basement suite is a good fit. Nancy was easy to message. The cute little deer outside was a nice birthday morning surprise :D ”

“Lou’s cabin was perfect for our family. It’s a rustic cabin with modern amenities. The back yard was very inviting and we were able to use the grill and play bocce ball. It was in town right next to an urban trail system, but still felt private. A bear walked right through the front yard one evening!”

“Wonderful stay! Clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The extra bonus room was a nice surprise and gave us plenty of space. Michelle was very responsive and always quick to help. Highly recommend!”
