Great vacation house near the beach. We visited several beaches in the area during our stay, and the best one was just a few blocks away from this house. The neighborhood was peaceful and the house was clean, had everything we needed, and was perfect for what we were looking for.

Great place to stay with beach 3 blocks away with very little traffic so walking with kids is not stressful. Lake Michigan was wonderful. Amenities at property were next to none very thoughtful host with all beach apparel available to use. Wonderful stay

Robin & The Hummingbird Cottage Team are fantastic. All information was provided asap and any questions were answered within minutes.The Hummingbird Cottage is a hidden gem at Miller Beach/Indiana Dunes. Great location and cottage is equipped great.We walked only a few minutes to the Lake and had BBQ with firepit at the cottage.Great place for dinner with live music is the Flamingo Pizza just a few minutes to walk.

Family with 2 kids ages 3 and 6, we had a great time! The beach stuff (a wagon, beach umbrella, kids life jackets, sand toys, boogie boards) was especially nice. Kitchen well stocked with dishware, we did not cook really but used the coffee maker. Overall would recommend. Cottage was a good size for us, might be small for more than a few adults.

Perfect vacation spot for a family. Walking distance to beach was super convenient. This place provided everything we needed to cook or grill and even things to take to the beach. Whole family loved it and had an amazing time!

Hummingbird Cottage in Miller Beach

We loved staying in this cozy, colorful cottage located in a quiet neighborhood with nearby beach access. This place has great amenities and helpful, responsive hosts. The sandy beach was just what we needed for rest and relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay! Just a quick walk to the beach. Easy drives to the state and national parks. Very comfortable place and we enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and screened in porch every night

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this charming and cozy house during our week at the dunes and the beach. The property was very clean and provided everything we needed for the beach, including a wagon to haul everything. It was just a few minute walk to a relatively quiet part of Miller Beach and a few minute drive to the West Beach area of the National Park (we enjoyed the Diana of the Dunes Dare). The nearby train station provides an easy one hour ride to downtown Chicago, which we took advantage of one day. Our plans changed on check-in day due to heavy storms, but our host graciously allowed us to check in early. The communication was good all around. We were a little suprised by the close quarters in the bedrooms, but it provided the room we needed and the kids enjoyed the loft space. The large screened in porch was a great area to spend time in. I would highly recommend this property.

My daughter and I came for the Indiana Dunes birding festival. Wverywhere we needed to be was about 15 minutes away. Great location. Loved the decor. Would definitely rent again

We had a great stay! The neighborhood is very quiet. Just a few blocks from the beach, making it an easy walk. The house is cozy and charming. It had everything we needed & more. (beach chairs, umbrella, paddle board, marshmallow roasting forks, games, plenty of towels, a crockpot, etc) Checking in was a breeze and Robin was easy to contact with any questions.

Quick winter visit

The place is incredible, stayed in January when it snowed but the cottage is well insulated and heater works flawlessly. Super clean, colorful and we can only imagine how awesome it would be in the summer. Great communication, great accommodating host.
