“Check in went really well.The rooms were much darker than anticipated. The pictures online looked much brighter. The furniture needs a some TLC--a lot of chipped paint, torn back rest on the couch, well-loved "sitting spots" on the couches. “We stayed here over St. Patrick's Day weekend and it was great. The neighborhood is quiet and there's lots of good places to eat close by. It was about a 35 minute drive to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium which was perfect. The host Vic was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. If you have little kids and are looking for a quiet place close to the city this is a great option. I would definitely stay here again. ”
