The historic apartment is in a remarkable building, with a grand columned entrance hall and marble staircase. The studio itself is stylishly decorated with a more contemporary feel. The front door opens into a vaulted living area, furnished with a dining table and chairs. The kitchenette is off to the left and is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. The smart sofa-bed is at the far end, partially screened off from the rest of the room, offering some privacy. There is also a flat-screen TV and a wardrobe.

Location
The apartment building is right in the “Centro Storico” of Genoa. Guests can enjoy exploring the city and experience authentic city life. In addition to the glorious Romanesque cathedral on the doorstep, the monumental Piazza de Ferrari is just 4 minutes walk. Other museums and galleries are within easy walking distance.

Genoa is famous for its fine food and has many excellent restaurants to suit all budgets. To fully appreciate the city and its food, the best market is the Mercato Orientale in Via XX Settembre (14 minutes walk). Otherwise, there are street markets every day across most of the city.

The lively port area is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The modern Aquarium of Genoa is worth a visit (7 minute walk). The Porto Antico (8 minutes walk) is a huge cultural space with many events, exhibitions and great places to eat out.

Genoa’s International Airport is just a 17-minute drive from the apartment.
