“Superdly clean and new property! Two bedrooms cabins with loft bed is 2 separate small little cabins! Kids enjoyed the board games in room. Water dispenser in room is so thoughtful! ”

“Loved our stay at The Black Cockatoo. We felt quite secluded, despite being a 5 minute walk from the small town ( pub, cafe, shops) Our room was really spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. Our host Sue was really great giving us a lot of info about the local area. ”

The small little things made our stay so nice, the nice fire going as you walk in for the first time, the amount of fire wood supplied is amazing so you can enjoy a few drinks into the night around the fire, the rustic feel is so cool and makes you feel like camping in luxury!!! We love it and have told so many people about it since! Can’t wait to get back!”

“The accommodation was very clean, but way overpriced for what it was. Very few lights worked, some rooms had no globe, some rooms had no light fittings. The outside light was on when we got there and took a lot to find how to turn it off, eventually turned it off at the meter box. Although the chalet slept 4 there were 3 wine goblets and 4 champagne flutes, no water glasses. Clean & lovely surroundings but way overpriced for very basic accommodation.”

“What an amazing place to take some time out with the family. The cabin is beautiful, comfy and cozy. The farm fresh eggs and fruit on arrival was an unexpected bonus. But the highlight of our stay was helping to feed the animals each morning. Luke and Kes were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again”

““A seperate large bathroom and laundry” in the description of this property fails to say you have to go outside the back door down a few steps and along 2-3 metres to an outside amenities area. I have stayed in cabins in other caravan parks NONE of which have had an outside bathroom. When we arrived at the property we couldn’t get the key to work to open this outside bathroom. I called the property concierge who came within 5 minutes to open the door and show us the correct key. When I said the...

“For a 'tiny home', it has everything you need plus more - the games and hammock was a lovely touch! My husband, dog and I really enjoyed our stay. We were lucky to not have run out of power - due to the hot sunny afternoons, we really needed to use the aircon and fan to cool the place down. All in all, a pleasant stay at The Daniel. Thanks for having us!”
