“I’ve stayed in other cabins in the area before and these “cottages” are far and away the best experience and best value for the money. Very clean, the mattress and bedding appeared new. The bathroom was very clean. Nice kitchenette. All around an excellent stay. ”

“Amazing place! Everything was perfect. The road up was a bit sketchy on a heavily loaded Harley with a passenger, but still doable.Highly recommend this place!”

“Property was great and prefect for a one night stay. My only suggestion would be it would be nice to have paper towels, paper plates or any silverware so a person would have something if you brought food with you. Would stay again if in the area. ”

“What a unique stay! Close to town for dinner. Nice setting for the cold plunge pool, and the bed was comfortable. Enjoyed watching the deer while sitting by the fire. ”

“The creekside cabin is a lovely spot for family. Cozy decor and thoughtful touches throughout make for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the ability to relax on the deck while the kids enjoyed the playground. Cooking at home kept our costs lower and we enjoyed walking into town for treats. This is the perfect spot from which to enjoy Custer State Park, Wind Cave, and more.”

“What an adorable property! We arrived late evening but check in was a breeze and I couldn’t stop carrying on about how cute this small space was. Great for singles or couples. A short walk to Black Hills State University where we watched our boys run track. My favorite thing about Spearfish has got to be the rec walking paths. “The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the property. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The fenced yard was perfect for our dogs. Beds were very comfy and house is stocked with all of the essentials. ”

“the listing says you will have the property to yourself, it isn't true! the owners were living upstairs and they were home... when we got there, it looked like they weren't expecting us. patio furniture was tipped over, dirty dishes on the grill, some random garbage in the yard... there was no chain or lock on the inside so the owners had access to the unit at all times. didn't feel safe at all... we shared concerns with hotels.com and the owners and they didn't seem concerned at all about...
