“This entire place is just amazing. We were staying in the motel part of the property and we weren't expecting much, but the rooms were so clean, renovated, the beds were comfortable and abundant parking. The staff was all so knowledgeable, so kind, and really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and help us. The on site restaurant was awesome too. The location to Mount Rushmore can't be beat! We will definitely come back.”

“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“Beautiful rooms, great location in Hot Springs South Dakota! The staff was wonderful and the cafe attached to the hotel was very nice. Coffee and Tea Bar was especially welcoming. Hot Springs is a great place to walk around and explore.”

“It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. ”
