“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

“The property is located in the country with horses coming to the fence to greet you. The cabin is decorated very nicely and fits very well with the country location. Everything we needed was provided in regards to kitchen items,dishes,towels, shampoo, conditioner,body wash... The location was ideal for our trip to Custer State Park and Keystone area.Everything was exceptional.”

“This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back!”

“It was super quiet with horses grazing in the field right by our place. They even came over to be petted. Nice outdoor space. Cute rustic feel. It was handy to the Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park, Custer and Hermosa. Beautiful area. ”
