“Overall, we loved our stay here! The tent was spacious, clean and beautiful! It was a hike to many tents and not easy to get to them but worth the effort! We had a stargazer tent with a bathroom. There is no electricity in the tent and I missed that info if they stated it in information sent to us. But they gave us battery packs and invited us to use the shared bathrooms for electricity for hair styling, which I did to (more hiking!) Really our only complaint was that the morning breakfast staff...

“Canyon Lake Resort is rather old, but well taken care of. Clean and comfortable I've visited quite a few dodgy hotels around the US where ones have let the interiors deteriorate, this was certainly not the case here even though some of the furniture could do with an upgrade. The rice was rather steep for our visit, in July 2018, but other hotels in the area were even more expensive.”

It was soooo relaxing to come back at night after our adventures to relax on the front porch! Don’t hesitate book this lodge now!! We will definitely be back!”
