Enjoyed staying here for our son's graduation from Gettysburg. The home was clean and well equipped. The property was beautiful- large yard and a pond. Would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay in Gettysburg and would rent this property again.

We genuinely loved our stay here - exploring the property and nearby monuments, quiet times spent out near the pond, making s’mores at the fire ring and watching for shooting stars in the evenings. The house is a largely intact 19th century farmhouse (with rustic barn and various out buildings) that charmed us from the moment we arrived for our three night stay. In fact, while Gettysburg has a lot of interesting things to do and see, we chose to spend as much time as we could on the property simply relaxing and enjoying ourselves.This place is a gem and we hope to make it a tradition for our family.

We loved the historic home and grounds, and convenience to the sites. We were enjoying the trivia cards and the very nice size dining table. The best part of our stay was our son-in-law finding his ancestor's memorial plaque among the monuments, & seeing his name there.

Everything was great! The vicinity to all of the Gettysburg monuments and downtown Gettysburg was wonderful, the beds are comfortable and check-out/in is very simple. There are plenty of places to go out for dinner and that.

The property was awesome! Beautiful old farmhouse steps from the battlefield, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Check-in was easy, and was granted a late check- out when requested. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a true Gettysburg experience!

Overall the property was great and we enjoyed our stay. It was listed as having windows AC units and there were not any in the home. It was nearly 90 degrees over the weekend and became a bit too warm for us. We didn't receive a response from the host so we went out and purchased some box fans. Other than that, everything was as advertised. The kids loved the swing!

Gettysburg History Review

We had a wonderful time in Gettysburg and our stay at the farm was awesome. If you are looking to stay at an old farm house with all the character that offers then this is your place! Every room has its own feel and helps bring a coziness to your stay. we would gladly choose this place again.

Beautiful historic home

We stayed there to attend a local wedding. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet, no close neighbors and it was easy to find where you were going. Check in/out was super easy.

The house is charming and spacious. Lots of outdoor space for kids to play. Very convenient to Gettysburg and a short drive to Amish country.

Wonderful home, Great location

This was a perfect home to stay we were in Gettysburg for my Daughters wedding and the family stayed at the house. The location was so close to the venue and we got to visit the battlefields of Gettysburg. Loved that it had a fire pit and the kitchen was perfect for making meals there. Loved the old farm house feel with lots of upgrades.

Time period feeling

Very peaceful and worth the money to stay here. Old farmhouse and a few things are expected with that. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. It was a great day!

Weekend retreat

The property was amazing with the pond , fire pit and plenty of yard for the kids to play. The fishing was great, caught plenty of fish. The house was large and full of rustic charm and history.
