Close to the mosque so be prepared to wake up before sunrise to the sound of prayer calls, which we thought was a good thing to experience, culturally, but some people might be very upset about that. ”

“Kalaa is a very nice riad, with two things that makes the difference: 1) The little rooftop pool is just a perfect place to relax and cool you down in a hot day 2) Their restaurant serves fantastic Moroccan food. Otherwise the rooms are quite expensive compared to other riads since they try to make this more like a real hotel (with minibar, aircondition, espresso machine, TV/DVD, etc), but in my personal opinion those things are not really worth the extra price you pay. “Since we were there off season we were the only guests. Got an upgrade to a very nice Deluxe room. Very nice and authentic place. When you arrive the entrance is a bit hidden in an aisle but good signage, you won’t get lost. There is a public parking lot outside the Medina. Just a few minutes walk away. Google maps tries to send you into the Medina, Nice Moroccan breakfast. ”

“Belle ancienne demeure ( riad du XVIIe) . Grandes suites au rez-de-chaussée donnant sur le patio . Les autres chambres sont au 1er. Très bon petit déjeuner. Avons dîner avec 1 tajine de légumes, très bon. Très bien situé. Tout se fait à pied à partir du riad. Parking possible devant le riad ( gardé). Acces en voiture très facile.”
