Underbar arvstuga i en fantastisk trädgård full av gamla rosor

Beläget i den vackra Gillentown-dalen och omgiven av enorma tandkött, är vår omsorgsfullt restaurerade 140 år gamla stuga och trädgård ett utmärkt ställe att bo för att varva ner eller upptäcka Duncan-familjens trädgårds talang. Stugan har ett sovrum och en bäddsoffa i det mysiga vardagsrummet med romantisk öppen spis. Med bra grundläggande matlagningsmöjligheter, fullständig frukostbestämmelser, vin och ost vid ankomst och en avslappnad atmosfär för våra gäster är det perfekt för den lugna resan eller en bas för att upptäcka Clare Valley.
Vi erbjuder också: gratis Clare Valley-vin, hamn och läckra lokala choklad, mysig öppen spis på vintern, luftkonditionering Queen size-säng (färskt linne) plus en bäddsoffa, kolvkaffe och tvilling-te, elektrisk filt (på vintern), hårtork , Quilts Galore, CD Player / Radio …… och VCR och DVD (men… ingen TV!).
Massage kan ordnas (måste förbokas), speciella krav på begäran.
Och bäst av allt ……… Walter Duncans rosenträdgård att vandra i …… på fritiden !!
Våra tullar gäller från 1 april 2018 Standardpriser ……………. 460 $ för två nätter. Midveckan stannar ……………… vi erbjuder 3 nätter till priset av 2. De angivna priserna är för 2 personer per natt med minst 3 nätter på långa helger. Extra person ……………… 65 dollar per natt, barn 40 dollar.(Maximalt 2 extra personer som använder bäddsoffa) ALLA Avbokningar kommer att debiteras 10%. Exquisite cottage garden stay

We absolutely loved our stay at the cotrage. We both love gardens, so it's setting in a garden was the icing on top of an already great experience.Generous breakfast supplies, a complementary bottle of wine and cheese as well as fire wood being topped up during our stay made us feel very welcomed. Having a fire on a cold night is such a joy!The Smart TV allowed me to cast Amazon Prime and a fitness app that I use from my phone to the TV. Perfect!We also used some of the vouchers that are ptovided for guests. Thank you Alana and Kay for making our stay perfect.

Excellent escape in amazing garden setting.

We felt like we had the whole garden to ourselves. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed including a cozy fire. Lots of treats here for those who stay.

Beautiful quaint cottage surrounded by the most stunning garden!

I could not be happier! From the moment I arrived up to the day I left, I received the warmest welcome and cosy stay. Alana and Kay go above and beyond,with attention to detail in all aspects of my stay. Little Teddy makes twice daily visits and is the cutest little dog! Highly recommended, thank you so much!

Amazing breakfast and gardens loved the character of the building

The host were absolutely amazing Cottage is just beautiful along with the gorgeous gardens I loved feeding the chooks our left over salads etc and it was so peaceful The cottage breakfast supply was absolutely amazing bacon eggs cheese crackers wine juice milk etc and a beautiful loaf of bread and our bike ride was so peaceful around the area too I would suggest a air fryer as there is no oven and i bought mini quiches party foods to heat up But had no way of doing that only by microwave which we chose not to doI would suggest a air fryer

Gorgeous cottage

Thank you Alana for accomodating us for our 3 night stay. I also enjoyed meeting you.  Spud enjoyed playing with Teddy! While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, not being able to use the wifi, as advertised, put quite the dampener on our stay.  I have a business to run, wifi access was imperative over that 4 day period.  We were told 2 hours prior to checkin that the wifi was playing up, which allowed us no time to pre-plan our stay, resulting in us having to take 2 trips every day to the local pub, to use their wifi so i could run my business.  I suggest removing the use of wifi in your cottage, as it clearly doesnt work in the cottage and will allow people to make other arrangements with your smart tv. Hoping the feedback is welcomed as the cottage and surroundings were lovely. We just felt for the large amount of money that we paid for this 3 night stay, should have allowed easy use of wifi and in our eyes, this reduced the value of what we paid, as this was one of the reasons we chose your cottage. Heritage Garden Cottage

Perfect Clare valley getaway

We stayed at the cottage for two nights and enjoyed a full day on hire bikes exploring the area and wineries. It was a perfect base in a very quiet location but not far from the lovely local Sevenhill pub and a bit further to Clare. We wish we’d spent at least another night to see more of the area but also because the cottage was so well prepared and comfortable. Definitely recommend the Homely Cottage as it’s lovely, set in beautiful gardens and the owners Alana and Kay are so generous and thoughtful with all the extras they provide.

Lovely old stone cottage in the Clare Valley

The heritage stone cottage has lots of space with 2 living rooms and a bedroom with a comfortable bed and a very well equipped kitchen. Breakfast supplies were particularly generous and the excellent kitchen was well lighted. Lighting in the other rooms was a bit low and there was no television reception and a poor WIfi signal. The location is a little out of town and the road a bit difficult to spot in the dark. Overall, a quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Relaxing 10/10

From the time we walk in we felt at home. The thing that really stood out was all the small touches. Anything we may have forgot was already there. Also, very good value for money. We were so happy. When we went to leave, a small well trained doggie came for pats before sending us on our way.
