“This was a very disappointing stay. The description did not disclose that there were several people living in the basement. There was no lock from inside kitchen to basement, so no way to assure those people didn't enter our space. The back yard was "off limits" as were several cupboards in the home. It appeared as though people who were in the house quickly moved their stuff into the basement prior to our arrival, with a very shoddy cleaning job. Some lights and receptacles didn't have covers. ...

“The Beebe House is definitely a good mix of modern convenience with historic charm. While some parts of the home could use an upgrade (the shower was a bit small with a strange enclosure), they do not take away from all the the house has to offer in space, accommodations, but, most importantly, location! You walk down hill, and you are in the heart of Lexington with restaurants, shops, historical homes, and much more. While being located on Main Street, we never felt as though the streets were...
