“This was our second visit to the lodges and we weren’t disappointed. Room was spotless, good shower and plenty of sockets. The breakfast to go is a bonus and filling. There’s a lovely courtyard which we used to sit out and have supper. If you want a break from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life this is the place to come and unwind. The host was friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit. Will definitely go back again.”

“We would highly recommend a stay at Moorhens Rest. The check in process was smooth and the house itself was fitted to a high standard with everything you could need. Situated by the lake, it provided a lovely view to wake up to and we enjoyed walks around the lake every evening. There is plenty to do for all of the family with access to a range of facilities on site including a games room and tennis courts. We very much look forward to staying again in the future.”
