“Great place to stay. There were four of us and it was about perfect with having one bathroom. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are there for use. But plenty of room if you brought your own. I would recommend bringing your kitchen essentials (spices, oil, condiments) as there aren’t really any there. Easy walk to the beach across the road. Road is 45 mph so people are hustling on the road but you can see a good half mile or more in each direction. Driveway is steep and not a ton of room,...

“This place is exactly as advertised. We stayed for a weekend to take in a concert at SPAC. It is a convenient location, easy to get to town, but very quiet neighborhood.The “well equipped” kitchen really is very well equipped, there was nothing I wanted that wasn’t there. The setting is beautiful, the lake is clean and welcoming. If we had more time we would have made better use of it, as it was we enjoyed it. That we could have our two small, very well behaved, dogs with us made it perfect.”

“So cute! Only a few blocks away from the lake. The Dollar General is 30 seconds walk. While yes there is a fire dept the tones aren't bad at all. The fire pit is awesome, but bring your bug spray!”

“Had a few hiccups but was fixed immediately. Beautiful place had a fun time exploring and swinging by the creek. Perfect for a private family vacation. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay at this rustic Lakeside cabin. The house was very accommodating and the view across the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed campfires, listening to the loons, and star gazing every night. It was also great being able to bring your dogs, who am I say thoroughly enjoyed the water. ”

“Our stay was a great one! The location was perfect and the lake access, with private beach and kayaks, was a huge bonus for my kids. The cabin was a good size for our family of four. We wanted to be close to Camp of the Woods, but be on our own meal schedule, so we could not have had a better location. Being right next to the Speculator Inn was another bonus. Check-in and out was easy, communication was great with the owner. We're hoping to come back again!”

“Came in for the weekend to attend 2 DMB shows at SPAC and to have a field trip for my senior dog. Both Me and my Dog loved the place. Super peaceful area and in a reasonable distance to SPAC. One negative is that the AC wasn’t too great. It’s ok in the loft sleeping area, but downstairs stays pretty warm, and I was here during cooler summer temps. Just be mindful of that if you like your AC like I do.”
