“Very beautiful place, the garden behind the hotel is absolutely lovely and the building itself has a wonderful style, both inside and outside. They have a restaurant in this beautiful garden and we had a tasty dinner there. The spa is not big, but however very relaxing. I loved the big balcony, we were lucky that there weren't other guests, but usually the balcony is shared with the neighboring apartment. Unfortunately soundproofing is very poor, all the voices from the corridor and next door...

“This hotel is nice with an interesting historic background. In the top of the hotel you find a library which belonged to Copernicus and in the front of the hotel an interesting museum. The town's name was earlier Heilsberg, and here it was a battle between the French and Russian armies during the Na-poleonic wars. We really liked the hotel, above all the pool area but also the restaurant where we had a wonderful dinner. Also the breakfast was really good. The room, though, could be better....

“We really liked the fine spa facilities with the massage, the swimming pool and the outdoor jaccuzzi. The restauramnt was good with reasonable prices too.”

“The parking was easy. The hotel is nicely situated but a little on the older side. The one restaurant I was refused service but without an explanation as the serving staff didn’t see to speak English well. The buffet was adequate in the other restaurant but wasn’t what I was looking for. I wasn’t in the mood for a mass feeding experience.”
