“Sadly, the Ben Miller is outdated and really needing a makeover. Straight from the outset, the front lobby was shabby (with furniture that was seriously in need of a change), the dining area resembled something out of a lodge in the Poconos in the 60's/70's (certainly not fine dining) with ample evidence of roof leaks and the view to the river having debris quite visible. Our room, while clean, showed evidence of much wear and tear; what stuck in our minds was the rust visible on the ceiling...

“The Little Inn has been a special place to us for many years. It is indeed charming and the staff was all kind and helpful. We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. The dinner menu had several changes that had to be conveyed verbally since the printed menu was not updated, and, most disappointing was that there was no breakfast available except on weekends at this point. Other breakfast possibilities in town were...

“All members of the staff were helpful and courteous. The saltwater pool was clean and large enough and deep enough for a real swim. The continental breakfast was fresh and good. The mattress was very comfortable. Next time we will ask for a room facing the garden (back of the property) as the window treatments do not block the light from the hotel's highway signage and I need a dark room to sleep in. Otherwise: geat property!”

“Inn was quaint and clean, good location, everything only a short drive. No A/C in the room, but that was mentioned in booking I just didn't realize it. After 3 days of lovely hot weather to room never cooled off that much with only the fans, but the fans did work somewhat. Angus was a great host, good breakfasts and always had good suggestions on what to do/where to go.”

“A cosy spot, with great atmosphere, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast. Adorable kids of the owner. Relaxing hot tub after a day of hiking at Point Farms Prov. Park. Great that we could visit the local market and make our own supper.”
