“Such a nice, cozy place”

“Astley Cottage was a calm retreat for two. What a wonderful outlook over the Daylesford bushland. The Cottage is well appointed with King size bed and delightful sheets and a spa and fire place to create the perfect couples retreat.”

“The cottage and surrounds were inviting and peaceful. Bed linen was beautiful, though we did find the mattresses too firm for us. Everything we needed was supplied and the fireplace kept the cottage cosy and warm. We also enjoyed the bookcase filled with an interesting mix of books and games, as well as the hammock and a fire by the dam to take in the beautiful starry sky. Elbert was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

“We could not fault this property. It had everything we needed and was the perfect space for three adults and a toddler. The cottage itself had a classic charm with a modern accents and was just beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. In terms of location, it was so peaceful and felt remote but was walking distance from the main strip with shops, cafes and markets super accessible. The front yard boasts come beautiful sunrises too. Check in was super easy and communication with the manager...
