“Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. “Both the double bed and the extra beds for my teens were very comfortable. The room was spacious and well furnished, with good storage, and both a desk and a table. There was a nice lounge/breakfast area overlooking the river. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even let me check the room an extra time a few hours after checking out, as I thought I had forgotten something! Also had free luggage storage both before checking in and after checking out. Would absolutely stay again!”
