“We thought everything was in excellent condition the house was clean. The host was friendly. Kitchen is beautiful. The hot tub was great as well as the privacy the property offered. We feel we found our new happy place. We will definitely be back.”

“High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.”

“This property is great!! The house is clean and the host has thought of everything you might need. Very few rentals on the lake will provide coffee and creamer and pretty much any seasoning you can think of. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and even a crockpot. Allison responded right away when I messaged her. They have a great dog, Kevin, who visits the guests and takes a dip in the pond. Unfortunately we have very hyper dogs and one is not always receptive to other dogs so...

“Adorable cabin that is both rustic and chic. It had all we needed and more. Very secluded and serene. The hammock and fishing ponds were heavenly and the hot tub was clean and comfortable. The hiking trails at Ferne Clyffe State park were amazing and unique, and the Blue Sky Winery was worth a stop. The Giant City Lodge was rustic and historic, great dining experience. Overall a relaxing stay in Southern Illinois ”
