“Very clean nice home. Only big suggestion is a propane grill rather then the small charcoal grill. Also shower door and regular door in bathroom of master bedroom need attention. Owner very accomadating. Would rent again- with hopes of different grill.”

“We used this location to gather with some friends from all over. The photos on the listing do not do justice to how beautiful and secluded this space is. The lake had very little traffic on it. We had great success fishing, and lots of fun tooling around in the pontoon boat. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. 100% would book a stay here again. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our time was here.”

“The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet....

“Screened in porch takes you to the river edge and watching the big ships on the St. Lawrence was a new experience. (There's even an app to track them.) Open floor plan with lots of room. Country cozy with the comforts of home. Hope to return and stay longer next time. Charming host!”

“Location is within a short walk to the village which allowed us to explore, revist and connect with our new favorite businesses; however, the property was literally encased by boats. Boats in the front yard concelled the cottage, Boats on either side of the property were parked in the drveways which caused confusion, and jostling for parking on property. Inside was welcoming and clean which provided an nice retreat for a long weekend stay.”

We appreciated the a/c units with the temps in the 80's. Also, it was nice to know there was a backup generator. We appreciated the history of the cottage. “Nice location and very clean property. Very well equipped. Photo of the outside needs updating. A new gazebo on the back porch was a surprise addition. We actually spent a lot of time under it in the heat of the day.”
