“My boyfriend is a total hotel snob from being a business traveler for years. I was so happy he actually agreed to stay here after seeing how high the ratings were on the property. Well he wasn’t disappointed and we loved our stay. The inn owners Karen and Kevin were very personable and friendly. The breakfast was great, eggs Benedict one day, quiche, homemade granola, ext. The inn itself is just lovely with a great fireplace that we sat at after we came back from dinner with some other guests....

“Cathy and I cannot say enough great things about this Bed & Breakfast. On our 7 day trip through MA, VT, NH, this place was by far our favorite ❤️! The house is very convenient to town and easy to park and just leave your car for the rest of your stay. We walked to everything. Our only regret was we didn't stay longer! Beautiful room, amazing bathroom, great tile work! We used the living room with fireplace (very toasty) and the breakfast with blueberry pancakes was amazing! We can’t wait to...

“Very accommodating charming Inn. Old, but clean.”

“Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind. Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well. Great time!”

“This property is the iconic lake area get away . Staff was welcoming and fun , the restaurant and bar are serving great food and drinks . The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also delicious. Lovely outside veranda deck :)”

“I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles.”
