The place was fantastic and peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the front range.
Location/Activities: Our stay occurred during the beautiful fall color season. This place does not disappoint. The drive up was fantastic and the condo is surprisingly close to a lot of great places, Granby included - e.g., Winter Park, Grand Lake, RNMP, etc. Around the condo this time of year are numerous hiking and biking (mtb/gravel) trails that aren’t difficult at all, but rather scenic. For those who like to braaap, you can shred down the ski area without anyone around. You have to bike up, but well worth the solitude and scenery. For those who appreciate the hermit lifestyle, there a well-stocked inventory of games and DVDs for all ages.
Condo: The size was perfect for my wife and I. Very clean with sizable kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Luckily housing children was not an issue as it was just the two of us. However, in the event wee ones came along, there is a nice collection of bunk beds for them. The bathrooms were comfortable…even one with a steam shower (oh goodness)! I still have dreams about that shower…
Amenities: Very well appointed. Full bathroom amenities and kitchen provisions. With the stockpile of foods and condiments, you would think someone lived there…but no! Having the selection came in handy when we forgot the usual olive oil at home.
Beds: Super comfortable and enough pillows to build a fort as big as the condo. Once my head hit the pillow I was out until daylight. Quiet and peaceful at night.
Highly recommended and would definitely stay again when we’re back up in the hills!
