Fantastiskt hus i Grand Marais! Gångavstånd till centrum!

Grand Marais Getaway har varit en semesteruthyrning i över 10 år och har licens med staten Minnesota. Det är ett ljust och rymligt hem bara några kvarter från den vackra Lake Superior, i den "coolaste lilla staden i Amerika", Grand Marais, MN.

Huset sover 6-8 personer i dess tre sovrum (2 drottningar, 1 dubbel och en bäddsoffa som är en annan drottning säng. Det finns 2 badrum, ett med badkar / dusch, och det andra har duschkabin.
Vi erbjuder WiFi, telefon och satellit-TV. Det finns också ett bordtennisbord i det nedre rummet, som ligger 4 steg ner från huvudnivån. Det nedre rummet har också den konvertibla soffan, samt ett badrum och läsekroken. Njut av en bok från vårt bibliotek i våra handgjorda kviststolar!
Under de varmare månaderna, spendera lite tid i den lilla studiobyggnaden som ligger inbäddat i trädgården. Det är en fantastisk plats för yoga!
Grand Marais Getaway ligger inom gångavstånd till hela centrum. Det finns många pittoreska butiker, några spektakulära restauranger, 2 lokala bryggerier, The North House Folk School och Grand Marais Art Colony.
För de mer äventyrliga finns det Boundary Waters Canoe Area, Lutsen Mountains och massor av fantastiska vandringar och mountainbike.
Grand Marais Getaway är precis vad du letar efter .... ett Northwoods stilhem, nära alla bekvämligheter du kan önska dig.

Everything was wonderful! Clean, amenities were plentiful, location was perfect. Ping-pong table a great addition to the place. Only complaint, the entry, step and walkway to back were not shoveled--at all. We stayed there in the past winter and they were cleared. Making it easier to walk our very old, small dog.Otherwise, 5 stars. Thank you!

Warm and cozy place to unwind after our days spent at the North House Folk School! (Even during a cold spell with -30* outdoor temps and -61 wind chill). The kitchen is well-supplied with excellent quality cooking equipment, as is the game room with puzzles, books and games. Host communication was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the North Shore!

This is our second stay at "The Getaway" & we just love it. Our host is quick to respond & left us a nice welcome gift upon arrival. We love the cabin-like feel to this home in town. It is clean, has everything you need and is well organized for winter or summer. The entry area allows you to come in from the cold & snow & not drag it through the house. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals in the house & had everything we needed. It is well located with in walking distance to downtown bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries & shops. It is also right off the start of the GFT. We will be back as we love this area. We tried sledding with the grand kids this time, and that too is close by the house. I highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving. The house is warm, cozy and immaculately clean. You cannot beat the location, walking distance to the harbor and downtown Grand Marais. A lovely "home away from home" and the ping pong table was enjoyed by all! Also this home is dog friendly which was essential for us. The heated floors were loved by us and our pup. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house is exactly right! Stocked for tons of fun! Great layout. Special little places to relax inside and out! Feels very private with all of the trees. Easy walk to downtown for shopping and eating. The beds are so so comfortable!

This was our second time staying at this particular VRBO and we just love it for our family! Our boys are 10 and 8 and it was perfect for all of us to have our own room and the ping-pong table game room. It was fantastic! Well in the front, there’s an awesome fire pit to sit and enjoy and stare at the stars!Location is fantastic for downtown Grand Marais because of the ease of going up to the gun Flint Trail into the bounder Waters and going up for tons of hikes very centrally located! Communication was great, thank you!

Anniversary, Birthday, Mother’s Day, we had a great time in a very cute home! Proximity to lake and shops was very convenient! 17 month old grandson was head over heels for the rocky beach!! I would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again myself!

Annual Friends Weekend

We spend a winter weekend with our pals of 25 years in the Grand Marais area every year. What initially brought us to the area was the opportunity to CC ski. Again, this year we had to do other things, which worked out great because of this VRBO selection. The 110 Getaway house was a perfect place to be when the weather doesn't cooperate. We played ping pong, watched March Madness basketball in the cozy living room, played cards, and walked into town several times. The home is just the right size to enjoy another couple and be cozy in the north woods. The location is perfect for 10 minute walk to the grocery store or to the local restaurants and businesses. Extra wonderful to have our dogs along for the fun. We will be back!

Great in town house!

The perfect weekend away

Our second time staying at this location and it was yet again a fantastic stay. Location is great. House is set up well and very clean. Beds are comfy and the ping pong table keeps teenage boys entertained. Nancy is an excellent host and great communicator.
