“Love the property, the privacy, and the proximity to Grand Marais and the Cascade River State Park. The price seemed a tiny bit high for what we got, but we don’t have dogs. If we had dogs, the price would be more than worth it. Would stay again for sure!”

“The location is ideal. The accommodations were as described, however, I would not review the toilet (outhouse) as super clean, as we had read on previous reviews. It was fine, but not exceptional. Just to reinforce, we were very glad we had a space heater for nights in the 40s and 50s. There is minimal wattage in the dome and so we had to keep the fan on low and did not dare raise the temp above 65°. It took the edge off. This is a great “primitive” experience. “Easy to be in the woods and enjoy the comfort of home”

“We loved our stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen was very well-stocked. The views were simply incredible and even though our weather wasn’t the best, we loved watching the rain and fog over the lake. The location along the shore was perfect for hiking and other activities. Overall our experience was extremely positive and we would gladly stay again.”
