Våra rekommendationer för semesterboenden i Grand Marais

Ett modernt vardagsrum med en hörnsoffa, en matplats med bord och stolar samt ett stort fönster som släpper in naturligt ljus.

1. Charming 2-bedroom cottage in welcoming Grand Marais, Michigan.

Grand Marais

“This cozy little cabin in Grand Marais was clean, comfortable, and made for a great home base while exploring the area. We also appreciated that it allowed our two dogs, which made traveling much easier. We’d definitely stay here again. The only reasons we’re giving it 4 instead of 5 stars are that it’s about a 1.5-mile drive to the waterfront (rather than an easy walk), and the cabin uses well water that has a very orange color, so we’d recommend bringing your own drinking water.Overall, it was...

4. Perfekt läge i Grand Marais

Grand Marais

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean, cozy, and the owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and care into this place. There’s plenty of sleeping space and parking (we had one couple and two single adults, two cars), lots of indoor activities to do for the family (games, pingpong, etc), full kitchen, and the washer dryer was perfect for after our hike earlier that day in the rain. Do be mindful of how much hot water you use within a short period of time if you have a lot of...

5. Amazing Lake Superior view from Ridge Road w/2 car heated garage, pet friendly

Grand Marais

“The property has a great location and view. It has a very peaceful setting, and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck. We also liked the coffee nook; it was nice and bright. The cabin was very dark and could use some lamps in the living and bedroom areas. The carpets were very dirty even though we were asked to remove our shoes before entering the home. It could have used a full-length mirror; there was only a small bathroom mirror. The shower and sink drained very slowly - had to stand in a...

Newberry

“We had an amazing stay at Hidden Haven with 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 dog! You can’t beat the location: we got to wake up to Lake Superior views, hear the waves crashing overnight, and could walk a few minutes up the road and be on the North Country Trail for trail runs and hiking. Everything was super clean and comfy and we had everything we needed to have a great few days. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!”

“We loved the space in the house and being able to do some minor cooking in the kitchen so that every meal was not out. The beds were comfortable and the dark curtains helped keep the bedroom dark longer in the morning. The one thing that threw me was that I figured 1+ bathroom a second half bath. My mistake. I guess it is having both a shower and a bath. Lots of little details to make it more comfortable like night lights for getting to the bathroom without having to turn on a light. Also...

“House is BIG and historic and fit our whole family, and hosts were very communicative and accommodating! Location RULES - super close to the water and shops and parks and restaurants. We had a nice stay! That said, some things could be easy wins for updates: swing on porch is broken, paint on deck is peeling (we couldn’t spend any time out there with our baby), AC units are nice to have but can’t be used overnight bc they are louder than a steam train. The shower is verrrrrry outdated and...

“If you need a bed to sleep this is for you. Small beds only one shower yard over grown, weeds were their flowers. Spiders were very bad, I had to get out at end of driveway because driveway was so overgrown. The spiders were all over the side of the house and porch. I have a cabin in the woods and I spray for bugs. Inside of house was clean and beds were clean. You are expected to stripe your beds and take the garbage out. The road that it’s on makes the driveway very hard to get in and out of....
