“Staying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). “Our lunch on our arrival date was not as smooth as I expected. The server seemed new, maybe? and the bartender couldn't get one of our drinks to taste as it should. We were 4 but our server never noticed we only had 2 place settings so we had to get up and get them ourselves. Breakfast the next day was fine but again a bit off. Shower floor was stained orange. Toilet overflowed from one piece of tissue multiple times spilling water through the entire bathroom floor and out into the room. “The pool was the highlight of the hotel. It was warm and open. I only saw a buffet style breakfast although the restaurant is advertised to be open early. The bar and where I expected to be able to get food was open after midnight on Wednesday, but closed by 9 on Thursday. I had to order food delivered instead. The room was worn.
