“Very outdated, pictures on Expedia did not match reality”

“My husband stayed, and he loved the cleanliness of the room and the variety of good food at breakfast. When in Norwich, CT, he will be staying there again.”

“Old rundown hotel. Bed was ok, bathroom needed update, peeling wallpaper, rusty door etc. Didn't bother with the so called breakfast. Microwaved egg omelets, no thank you. Walls are thin, you can hear everything. Sounded like people above us were a herd of elephants, loud banging, thumping , voices etc. I called front desk to complain. Noise started around 11:30pm, finally quiet by 1:30 am until 8am. ”

“On the second night of our stay, when the hot water was turned on, the water was a light brown color. The morning we were leaving, the hot water was fine. The sink had a horrible smell throughout our stay. The breakfast was the best part of our stay (food was hot, lots on variety, etc).”

“Friendly staff, nice bar area with pub food. Free shuttle to casino, though rides stop at 9:45pm. Good value, reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again. Bathroom was functional, but a bit outdated. Clean and comfortable room, nice grounds.”

“The property was not very well maintained and it is being used for the homeless shelter and they are reserving handicapped spots and the whole hotel is dirty”

“We had a very disappointing stay. The hotel did not feel safe at all, and the overall condition of the property was poor. The room was dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned. The building is very old, outdated, and feels more like a neglected motel than a hotel. We were uncomfortable throughout our stay and did not feel secure. The breakfast was very limited and below expectations. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property to other travelers.”

“I didn’t like to be honest. The phone line didn’t work and the tv didn’t either the first night. I had to ask to get it fixed. The tv had an adapter that looked like a camera and it scared me for a min. Till I covered it.”
