“The acorn in a cute little cottage on beautiful Mountain View lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The host was responsive, friendly and gave great recommendations for area hikes and activities. ”

“The property was exactly as listed. Location was great, situated very close to downtown, the national park mansion, and the farm. The apartment was very light, clean and organized. The kitchen was well stocked. There was some construction at the property next door that started early, but that is not necessarily something that could have been controlled and was a short term situation. I would recommend this property.”

“Wonderful old schoolhouse with lots of charm! We loved having breakfast on the deck and a fire in the chiminea in the evenings. The house had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Great location near historic sites, parks, the Connecticut River, and quaint towns.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. My son, his wife and two young boys joined us for one overnight. We canoed, did some kayaking, grilled a fabulous dinner and played several of the many board games available. The house has been beautifully renovated, and the kitchen seems to hold anything you could possibly want or need. It’s about a 20 minute drive into New London, a lovely town and great place to visit. Very peaceful, beautiful scenery, and enjoyed by all!”

“While the weather was stormy we had a great view of the storm sitting on the porch! We came for a wedding and it was perfectly suited for us. Plenty of room and our host was great at communicating with us. They get a 10 star rating for their communications! ”
