My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. “Gregor has a beautifully appointed home in a central location. The home was clean, comfortable and restful. The back garden and sunroom was such a lovely place to relax and enjoy meals. The closeness to the downtown centre was a real plus. We could enjoy all Inverness had to offer, and then cross the river back to our home away from home. “Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.”

“This adorable cottage was perfect for our family of 4. The location was close to stores and restaurants, easy walk to anything we needed. Having a parking spot on the property was perfect, a convenience that made our stay. The property was clean with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The owner even supplied body wash, shampoo and soaps which was a nice surprise. This is a fantastic place, we highly recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay.”
