“Check in was very easy. The kitchen was great it had everything we needed to cook meals when we eat in. Nice and clean and very beautiful decor. Outside area was very nice as well. Just outside the city so you could get to Inverness but a nice quite country home. ”

“What a lovely location. Perfect spot for the two of us to recharge our batteries doing some local walking and also exploring further afield around Inverness and Loch Ness. Lots to do on a week long stay and on top of that a lovely, clean, fully equipped cottage for us to stay in. We strolled along the beach to Chanonry Point several times Took us about 30 minutes each way, hoping to see the dolphins, without success, although almost everyone we talked to had seen them. It didn’t matter...

“Eagle’s Nest was beyond our expectations! The description was accurate but everything was that and so much more. We had a family of 16 with ages from 7-79 and there was something for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms very comfortable and clean. You couldn’t ask for more! We world recommend highly.”

“We stayed at the Rose Cottage in July 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Gregor answered every question we had in a very timely manner and even gave us a ride to the train station on our last day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. “This was a very nice and clean property. Communication with the owner was easy and they were very responsive. The area is nice and quiet, with a few restaurants and distilleries, all within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and could see ourselves using this location the next time we decide to visit. ”

“We had an amazing few days at Falls Cottage. Everything from the peaceful and idyllic location to the fantastic space and amenities of the cottage itself - it all made our stay so memorable. The cottage is spacious and well laid out. There were many thoughtful touches such as the welcome pack, lots of local information and even bath robes. “What a beautiful, lovely house. From the moment you step in to the moment you step out to the back garden it’s just amazing. It makes you never want to leave. It has everything you need to be at home. And the communication between the owners was spectacular. no matter what questions I ask it was responded to quickly. We’ll definitely stay again when we come back this way. Thanks to Caroline and Gemma for making the stay more than we could ask for! ”

"Don’t check in here unless you’re ready to deal with arrogance and zero accountability. Our first room had no heating – radiators didn’t work. Things break, fair enough, but the way we were treated by Cathlynn at reception was unacceptable. At 7:30 PM we reported it. By 9:30 PM, still nothing had been done. We were handed a shabby blanket and a small heater. At 11 PM we were downgraded to a smaller, warmer room. Next morning we were promised a 30% refund and an upgrade for our last night. What we got was the same category we originally booked – not an upgrade. Worse, the room hadn’t been cleaned: used coffee cups, wet towels, unmade bed – and our luggage was already moved in. Again, met with “not my fault” attitudes. I repeatedly asked to speak to the manager – apparently never there, even though we saw him during breakfast. Hotels.com was no help either. Claimed they couldn’t reach the hotel – I called myself and got through instantly. Staff kept apologizing but never followed up as promised. This hotel needs someone responsible at the wheel. Until then, stay elsewhere."

"Surprisingly good value for money. Very well located near the nighlife. Good if the price is right. The continental breakfast was kind of miserable. We did not have time for full Scottish. The coffee was not drinkable. Coffee is a disaster in the whole of UK, here it was just slightly worse."
