"Jättefint hotell, läge och bra frukost. Parkering finns bara ett stenkast från hotellet. Old Town Rose Street Multi-Storey Car Park. Prisvärt och gott om platser. Gymet var inget att ha så det drar ner betyget lite."

"Very nice place and people running it. We had a spacious and spotless room on the topfloor. We had dinner at the hotel, fish & chips, some chicken and a tasty chantarelle sandwich, all very tasty. We can also recommend the desserts. The village was small, sleepy but nice to stroll around. Some pubs and restaurants, we didn’t try them. A Coop and some small nice shops, we visited a fishing-shop at High street with a service-minded owner. There is a museum but we didn’t visit it."

"Vi hade läst en hel del negativa saker om hotellet, men det var helt ok. Rummen var fina och byggnaden slottslik. Ett par negativa saker var det "knarrande" golvet, varje steg hördes över stora delar av hotellet. Dyr frukost (15 gbp och även dyr restaurang för övrigt)."

"Enkel sen incheckning. Bra parkeringsplatser. 10 min fin promenad till centrum. Rent snyggt och mysigt. Något lyhört från trafik, men vi sov gott iaf. "

"Don’t check in here unless you’re ready to deal with arrogance and zero accountability. Our first room had no heating – radiators didn’t work. Things break, fair enough, but the way we were treated by Cathlynn at reception was unacceptable. At 7:30 PM we reported it. By 9:30 PM, still nothing had been done. We were handed a shabby blanket and a small heater. At 11 PM we were downgraded to a smaller, warmer room. Next morning we were promised a 30% refund and an upgrade for our last night. What we got was the same category we originally booked – not an upgrade. Worse, the room hadn’t been cleaned: used coffee cups, wet towels, unmade bed – and our luggage was already moved in. Again, met with “not my fault” attitudes. I repeatedly asked to speak to the manager – apparently never there, even though we saw him during breakfast. Hotels.com was no help either. Claimed they couldn’t reach the hotel – I called myself and got through instantly. Staff kept apologizing but never followed up as promised. This hotel needs someone responsible at the wheel. Until then, stay elsewhere."
