Island hus ligger på Stretch Island nära Fair Harbor

En nordvästra dröm semester bara en timme från Seattle ligger på Stretch Island minuter från Fair Harbor. Samtida cederträning med 5 hektar av stranden bara en timme och 20 minuter från Seattle. Inga färjor krävs, om du inte vill båt över och köra från Bremerton, Southworth eller Kingston.
Blötlägg i 180 graders utsikt över stranden och Mt. Rainer från vardagsrummet med 20 "långa prow framfönster. Hemmet har en stor master svit på övervåningen med loft och kråkor boet. Nedervåningen är värd ett stort gästrum och bad. Huset sover bekvämt 6 personer.
Utforska hektar av orörda privata tideland, vid lågvatten kan du gå runt hela ön. Stranden erbjuder många djurlivsåtgärder - sälar, oter, en mängd havänder, örnar och heroner, om du har tur Orcas. Ön är hem för hjort, räv, fasan, ugglor. Utforska North Bay vatten med kajak och SUP lägenheter i närliggande Allyn.
För golf fans, Chamber of Commons i Tacoma var nyligen värd för USA Öppet är 40 minuter bort. För dem som vill leka i närheten, är den högt belönta Gold Mountain Golf Club i Bremerton bara 15 miles away.
Gästerna har tillgång till propan BBQ, eldstaden, ved, utomhus matbord. Den närmaste stranden är en del av hyresfastigheten. Stränder nord och syd är privata egendom, men du är fri att utforska och gå på stranden i båda riktningarna.
Perfekt för familjer eller en romantisk semester. Stranden är säker och tillgänglig via gemenskapens trappor. Ön är ett idealiskt tillflyktsort från staden för par och familjer. Staden Allyn ligger i närheten och har en stor glassaffär, Big Bubbas Burgers, vår favorit mexikanska restaurang, kajak och SUP-uthyrning, och saknar inte kedjesågs utomhus galleri. Sommaren erbjuder också den sällsynta Drive-in Theater bara 20 minuter bort.

Truly relaxing. The view was amazing with the sound of the waves below. Couldn't ask for a better view. Every morning we had coffee and breakfast looking over the water with mountains in the back.I would recommend a sleepmask for the master bedroom. The sun does drop right into the room at sunrise.

Mother/daughter Vacay

My daughter and I spent a week on Stretch Island. We really liked the location and the break from road noise. The sounds from the water and birds was so relaxing. I wanted to be able to bottle it up. The accommodations were nice as well. Amenities like pots and pans and a coffee maker were my big check off items and there was no issue with those items as well. The only issue I had was that VRBO removed the listing information and for some reason, I didn't immediately have access to all of the check-in and check-out info. When I contacted the owner to get the check-out info, she was shocked that it was missing as well. But, we got everything figured out and enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable home, beautiful setting

This place was absolutely perfect for a lowkey girls' weekend with a couple of friends. The setting and view couldn't be beat, and the home was very comfortable and had everything we needed. And excellent communication from owners. Would love to return in the summer!

Nice Getaway

Beautiful location right on the water and plenty of space to spread out. There were four of us and we could have used more dishes, one of the beds was noisy and uncomfortable, and some things were missing when arrived..dishwasher soap and bath soap. Laundry area had a lot of stuff piled, closets were locked so couldn’t hang clothes. This could be a great property with a little sprucing up.

Great Location

Overall, an enjoyable stay, but not impressed with the preparation of the property in advance of our stay. Patio furniture was not at all like in the listings - not set up, cushions were all in a closet, there were no lounge chairs or coffee table, most of the furniture was plastic, and there was no umbrella to provide shade on the very sunny patio. The interior of the grill was very rusted out and the grill brush was missing all of its bristles - we had to purchase one at the store. Inside, there seems to have been an issue with the housekeeper as there were no paper towels, no dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent, and no body wash in the showers. When I communicated this to the host the response was that the housekeeper was supposed to take care of that, but offered no solution - we ended up going to the grocery store to purchase these supplies. The smoke alarm in the master bedroom was low on battery, and was beeping incessantly so we had to remove it from the ceiling and pull the battery. Upon returning to the house one night to prepare dinner and enjoy the deck, there were landscapers performing maintenance on the property - at 5PM, which is kind of a strange time to be there and quite a nuisance. We enjoyed our time here, but for the money, we will likely look for alternative accommodations should we return to Stretch Island. Also, there were no checkout instructions on either the listing or posted in the house, so we did our best.

There were a few little glitches but nothing major. one of us was a bit cold most of the time - might have had something to do with the gentle rain for 2 days. we slept well. the communication difficulty might have been a VRBO problem.

Amazing Views and Tranquility

Relaxing retreat

We enjoyed our stay, it was relaxing, quiet and serene. Property was clean and had all the essentials we needed. Loved being right on the water with views of Mount Rainier. Driveable distance to Seattle and Olympic National Park. Definitely enjoyed this autumn stay!

Incredible view!

Long weekend holiday

The property was beautiful and well-maintained! However, the deck is multiple levels iand is a trip hazard. Everyone tripped and fell at least once because of all the level changes. The owners would benefit to painting the different levels, different colors, or marking the level changes with tape.

Anniversary weekend

This is a beautiful property and a cozy clean home everything was great, only 2 ideas I would say moving forward. It says no dogs allowed, either the actual home owners own dogs or someone brought them anyways because the two down stairs couches were covered in white dog hair, I'm a dog owner so I just lint rolled both couches and all was good, but someone with a allergy may not agree. Second the property does not have beach access like I thought. Still 5 stars great home, beautiful sunrise and a quiet peaceful spot.

Quiet getaway

The house is super cute and cozy. Very well maintained and clean. The view includes Mount Rainier on clear days. We saw whales and sea lions from the deck. The neighborhood is quiet and the residents were all friendly.
