“Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. “The room, breakfast and evening meal which we had in the pub were all excellent. The village in which the White horse is located is lovely with some absolutely chocolate box houses.”

“Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though.”

“Nice staff. But walls peeling in bathroom, door entry into room has huge gap underneath so you can hear everything in and out of the room. Flies buzzing around, bins being emptied at 8am next to our room. Mould in bathroom”

“Delusions of grandeur. A very small room with barely enough room to open a suitcase, slightly shabby decor. So many cushions on the bed that when you removed them they took up most of the available floor space! Bathroom ok but nowhere to put toiletries. Dinner ok, but nothing special. It was all “ok” but disappointing compared to the hype on the website.”
