“The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities. Unfortunately the microwave did not work and guest service did not about it. Neither did the local contact. Had bought home cooked food and the lack of a microwave was very bad.”

“The Highland Cottage was perfect!! We spent a lot of our mornings and evenings on the deck relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Coopers Hawks, deer, enormous squirrels and chipmunks came to visit each day. Having a cozy, well appointed, delightfully decorated home base was just what we needed after our daily adventures in Acadia National Park. On our last morning we decided we would come back again!!! Fantastic!!”

“We stayed just over a week and really enjoyed all of it. The facility and property in general weee great; our hosts made everything easy and prepared the Yurt beautifully. We had not stayed in one before, but were very pleasantly surprised. They even provided eye covers and earplugs if you wanted to use them. I did not use them, but I thought it evidence of the attention to detail. You should try it!”

“The house was roomy for our party of 8 (including 3 kids). The washer and dryer were nice to have so that we could leave with clean clothes, and lighten our luggage. The check-in process and entry to the house were super easy, as was communication with the owner. There are 4 bedrooms, but the listing may not detail exactly that you have to go through the bedroom at the top of the steps to get to the twin bedroom, then you get to the queen bedroom, then you get to the other queen bedroom, and...

“The house was amazing and very large. It had a wonderful backyard area w a fire pit and plenty of chairs. The bedrooms were large and the upstairs attic bedroom space was awesome! The kitchen was very well stocked and so were the bathrooms. We absolutely loved our stay!! As a bonus there hiking trails all nearby. ”
