“We loved feeling part of the outdoors when inside of this fun yurt. A true relaxing getaway among gorgeous tree-covered hills. Lots of options for sleeping arrangements as our group came and went. I had a fantastic deep tissue massage by Skya from Nevada City who came out to the house. The home was located about halfway between Auburn and Grass Valley which was nice. Hosts were very helpful.”

“Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. The neighbors aren't super close, but I'm sure this property had issues with noise in the past and that probably ruined it for everyone going forward. The pool table and ping pong tables are smaller than your typical, but I thought the shuffleboard table was legit. The house was clean, no issues there. We had mild weather so I can't...

“The host never responed to our repeated attempts via text, email and phone about how to access the property. We ended up staying in separate hotel rooms on Thanksgiving weekend. To add insult to injury, the VRBO rental fee was deducted from our bank account and we are now waiting for VRBO to process our refund.”

“We highly recommend this home. We were multigenerational family visiting for a 80th birthday. The home was perfect. The hot tub was hot and the pool warm. BBQ was great. The pool and foosball tables kept teenagers and adults entertained. The kitchen was spacious and perfect for lining up self serving at mealtimes. Comfy beds and great combinations of bunk beds and trundles. We will definitely rent on next trip to visit local family.”

“I recently worked with Eric to accommodate 15 guys for a 50th birthday celebration. Eric was amazing to communicate with and even sent additional pictures of where things were in the house. “This was our second stay at this cottage. We have friends we visit in Sacramento. It is so peaceful! The lovely grounds and welcoming porch make it a perfect place to relax. The kitchen has everything, the sheets are great, wonderful views of the garden plus wild turkeys! Just lovely.”
