“First off, we have never stayed in a yurt before so have nothing to compare this yurt with. We've had friends to and they have had good things to say. Since this was a last-minute trip and we wanted to be close to the trailhead, we decided to try out this yurt that advertised that it was "7" minutes from the trailhead. and was "luxurious"!!!!! It ended up being 24 minutes. I'm glad I had GPS because the way that the host told us to go, was in the opposite direction and there was NOTHING...

“Everything was perfect! You absolutely need 4 wheel drive to get up the hill. Im not sure if I overlooked that part or just didn't see but I believe we were at the top of the mountain. The trees to the left blocked the view but overall I absolutely loved the house. It was equipped with everything that you would need. I would definitely stay again. “The house is absolutely one of my very favorite places in NC. I stayed a week for the third or fourth time with two sister. the house is perfectly designed and maintained .The view is incredible. The house is missing absolutely nothing. The beds and sheets are amazing. If I could live there full time I would!”

“Great stay for a long weekend, cabin is well-supplied with entertainment options and kitchen equipment, HVAC cools well on all 3 floors (we visited during a heat wave, if you can call it that at 4300ft altitude), and comfortable furniture, including rockers on the deck for the amazing views!
